Surrogacy is a form of assisted reproduction in which a surrogate mother carries and delivers a baby for intended parents who cannot conceive or safely carry a pregnancy themselves — offering hope after infertility, repeated IVF failure, or the absence of a uterus.
In India, only gestational altruistic surrogacy is legal under the Surrogacy (Regulation) Act, 2021. The surrogate has no genetic link to the child, traditional surrogacy is not allowed, and commercial surrogacy is banned — the surrogate may receive only medical expenses and insurance, never a fee. Choosing a registered, compliant clinic protects the parents, the surrogate and your child's legal parentage.

Surrogacy in India is tightly regulated. Here is exactly who qualifies under the current law and its 2024 amendment rules — we confirm your documents during a free consultation.
Woman aged 23–50, man aged 26–55, legally married, with a certified medical indication, and generally no surviving biological, adopted or surrogate child (narrow exceptions apply).
Must be an Indian widow or divorcee aged 35–45. Never-married single women and single men are not eligible.
A willing, ever-married Indian woman aged 25–35 with a child of her own, acting as a surrogate only once, certified medically and psychologically fit. She receives medical expenses and 36 months of insurance — no fee.
Open to Indian citizens and, conditionally, OCI couples (with the required Board/Appropriate Authority recommendation and FRRO documentation). Foreign nationals and PIO cardholders are not eligible.
Permitted only when one partner has a district-medical-board-certified condition, and the child must carry at least one gamete from the intending couple. A single widow/divorcee uses her own egg with donor sperm.
