Most of the difference between ₹15 lakh and ₹25 lakh is the delivery hospital and whether complications are covered. Ask whether a quote includes NICU care, as this is the most common extra.

Approvals come from Telangana’s Appropriate Authority under the Surrogacy Act, set up by the state health department. The District Medical Board of your district certifies the medical need, and a magistrate’s court issues the parentage and custody order before the embryo transfer.

How to Choose a Surrogacy Clinic in Hyderabad
With so many clinics, Hyderabad couples can compare several itemised quotes. Check the surrogacy registration first, then compare the items line by line.
- Surrogacy registration: ask for the clinic’s surrogacy registration number. An IVF (ART) registration alone is not enough.
- Written, itemised quote: every stage listed separately, as in the table above, with what happens if a transfer fails.
- Delivery hospital: know where the baby will be born and whether it has a neonatal ICU.
- Legal support: who files the medical board, court and Appropriate Authority applications, and whether that is in the price.
- Insurance proof: a copy of the surrogate’s 36-month policy before the embryo transfer.
- NICU on site: ask whether the delivery hospital has its own neonatal ICU, or whether a newborn would need to be moved.
- No “guaranteed baby” packages and no payment to the surrogate beyond what the law allows.
